We decided to visit the new Greek place nearby. We went for the traditional gyro sandwich. The pita bread was nice and warm and fresh. The gyro meat was balanced nicely with tzatziki sauce and fresh sliced tomatoes. We also had a Greek side salad that was a big portion and very tasty with beets and potato salad underneath. The French fries were fresh too. Great little place. We will return.
This is a very clean, well run restaurant. The food portions are pretty good size, but one of the things I love the most is the service is so good. There are enough people working here that they get your order out fairly quickly. Also they have places to sit inside and outside. Good job on the place, Chip! I highly recommend it. Very delicious.
The food is delicious and the portions were also great! The chicken was so tender and juicy. Beef was undercooked to my liking but still flavorful. Gyro meat was top ter and amazing! I'll be eating here anytime I pass by! Salad was very fresh and great portion. There was also potatoe salad under the salad itself, which was a nice surprise!
We always tend to wit a few weeks after a new place opens to let the initial mad rush balance out. And, it's always good to see what others have experienced. Friend have been here and gave good comments. The over read on it is also good. So we had lunch today. She had Chicken Souvlaki meal with the Lemon Rice Soup. That soup is effin' amazing! I opted for the combo meal that had both chicken and beef souvlaki. I went for the Greek salad as my side. That salad is spot on , including the potato salad underneath it. Side order of Hummus with pitas was also excellent. Place is super clean. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is good. Looks like a place that we can easily return to. Nice job and thank you!
I must say coming from up north I would have never imagined getting a gyro better than a Jersey gyro and this place is simply chefs kiss . The owner was so sweet and the ambiance was great!! The homemade tzatziki sauce is TOP TIER!! If you want good homestyle greek food try them out, you won't be sorry, its definitely good eats!!

First time to visit The Hungry Greek. The customer service was excellent. It was lunch time the place was standing room only. Food came out quickly. During this super busy time, we watched the owner (I think)patiently read and explain the entire menu to a customer who was visually impaired. Thank for showing amazing customer service during what can be a very stressful time for employees. I will visit this place often because the food was very good, the customer service was excellent and the serving size was generous.
